Strange cocktails von the less you know the better

… to this day I am struggling to see you in your entirety. A lock of hair; a string of beads; a collarbone, like a proud bird. Trinkets and mementoes, surely, but their materiality challenges my memory of you, and isn’t it why we keep things? To remember? Dried flowers – do people still keep those?

… Bis heute bemühe ich mich, Dich in Deiner Ganzheit zu sehen. Eine Haarlocke; eine Perlenkette; ein Schlüsselbein… wie ein stolzer Vogel. Auch wenn dies nur Plunder und billige Souvenirs sind, aber ihre Existenz fordert meine Erinnerung an dich heraus. Ist das aber nicht der Grund warum wir Dinge aufbewahren? Unsere Erinnerung am Leben zu halten? Trockenblumen – bewahren man die immer noch auf?

„Lucky“ is a 5 Act drama that follows Lucky, a ghost who recently moved to the suburbs of Ohio, and her attention seeking quixotic neighbors. Deceit, intrigue, jealousy and egomania all play out in this suburban gothic drama as voices, music, sound effects and field recordings weave together in an attempt to make the community an ideal place for the living and the dead.

„Lucky“ ist ein 5-Akt-Drama die folgt einem Geist, Lucky, der vor kurzem in einen Vorort von Ohio gezogen ist und ihre um Aufmerksamkeit heischende weltfremden Nachbarn. Täuschung, Intrigen, Eifersucht und Egoismus spielen in diesem vorstädtischen Gothic-Drama eine Rolle. Stimmen, Musik, Soundeffekte und Feldaufnahmen verweben sich in einem Versuch die Gemeinschaft zum idealen Ort für Lebende und Tote zu machen.
